Curry and Hannah were both born and raised in Oklahoma. Their paths collided while attending Oklahoma State University. Curry received a degree in Landscape Contracting in 2007 and Hannah received her degree in Landscape Architecture in 2008.

After graduation they began their careers in Dallas, TX. Curry worked as a project manager over seeing high end residential installations. Hannah worked as a landscape designer and gained experience with all aspects of design, from parks to high end residential gardens.

In 2011 they moved back to Oklahoma City and founded Red Earth Landscaping. What started as a two person operation is now a multi faceted company that handles all aspects of landscape design, installation, and maintenance. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and the work ethic of every member of our team.

Hannah and Curry each have unique strengths they bring to every project. Hannah takes the lead on the initial design from concept through detailed planting plans. One of the things she loves most is creating designs that represent each client’s unique taste and lifestyle. Every project is different and presents its own challenges and opportunities. Oklahoma City is one of the most difficult places to create beautiful landscapes. Our climate brings extreme heat and cold, damaging winds, and ice storms just to name a few. Hannah embraces the challenge of creating landscapes that not only survive, but thrive in our harsh conditions.

After the design is complete Curry takes over the project management and brings her ideas to life. He makes sure everything is installed correctly with an incredible eye for detail. Hannah and Curry always work together on site throughout the course of an installation. Some of the most important aspects of a successful garden are the things you cannot see once the job is complete. Proper soil amendments, irrigation, and planting techniques are the most vital elements in a successful landscape.

In addition to their business Curry and Hannah are parents to three children- Mae, Birdie, and Buck. When not working they are busy being chauffeurs and cheerleaders for horse shows, basketball games, and ballet. They love living on their dream farm just outside of Oklahoma City and watching the many home projects grow and evolve over time.

Hannah and Curry Dean are the owners and founders of Red Earth Landscaping. As born-and-raised Oklahomans, they value hard work, exceptional design and building beautiful projects that will thrive. While they have a unified vision with Red Earth, what makes them magic is the unique strengths they bring to every project.

When building a successful garden or landscape, some of the most important aspects are the things you cannot see once the job is complete. Proper soil amendments, irrigation, and planting techniques are the most vital elements in a successful landscape. The Deans walk their clients through every seen (and hidden) part of the job.
